“Each student comes to us with a unique set of challenges and we are able to create a curriculum for that child that fits their specific need. And that is phenomenal.”

Skyuka Hall Parent and Teacher

Who We Are

Skyuka Hall is a Tennessee Category Three school centrally located on Brainerd Road in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Skyuka Hall is an accredited member of SACS-CASI, AdvancED, and Southern Association of Independent Schools, and a member of Tennessee Association of Independent Schools and the National Association of Independent Schools.

We enroll students grades kindergarten through twelfth grade and provide individualized teaching and learning experiences for those that may have struggled in a typical learning environment.  Every student here is unique, which is why we have a 8:1 student teacher ratio for all of our programs. We serve students with average to superior abilities who have been diagnosed with learning differences such as dyslexia, autism spectrum disorder, or attention deficit disorder.

Our Mission

Skyuka Hall is dedicated to providing individualized learning experiences within a community that enables students with learning differences to develop academically, physically, spiritually, and socially with confidence, courage, and conviction.

As we grow and add grades, the Board of Trustees and Head of School look to graduate Skyuka's first class in 2020. Because of our exponential growth, over 600% increase in the student body since 2014, the Board of Trustees is currently acquiring new property to relocate to in the future.  Skyuka Hall has rolling admission throughout the school year, and continues to accept applications for the 2018-2019 school year - though many grades are at wait list.
